We have been notified that the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) Charges will commence on 12 August 2018. The charge is imposed on employers who nominate workers for temporary or permanent skilled work visas. The SAF will only apply to Nominations made on or after 12 August 2018, meaning any applications lodged before this date will not be affected, even if it is pending a decision.
The SAF Fees are as follows:

An exception in both of the above categories is that the charge is nil if the nomination is made pursuant to a labour agreement providing for the nomination of the occupation of Minister of Religion or Religious Assistant.
