Students looking to apply for a Skilled Migration Visa may now be eligible for extra points if they have studied a Masters Degree by Research or a Doctorial Degree. The following requirements must also be satisfied:
(a) the degree was completed at an Australian educational institution; and
(b) the person has met the requirements for the award; and
(c) the degree included study for at least 2 academic years at the institution in a qualifying field of education.
If all the above is satisfied, the student can gain 5 Extra Points!
